Plot
It’s the last weekend for five guys who studied and lived in the same house, where they ate old jars of spaghetti sauce and pasta with nothing on it, experienced stretches of boredom and rapid hookups, pulled all-nighters studying and parties at dawn. But now that their naive, exciting and protected time of life is about to end, they will have to become responsible adults. Each of them will go in a different direction, making choices that will change everything. Some will stay in their hometown, others will leave to work abroad. This is the story of the last three days these five friends share what might be the best time of their life and a moment they will never forget.

Roan Johnson is a Tuscan raised in Pisa . After graduating from the Experimental Cinema Centre in screenwriting, he went on to write his first feature “Now or Never” (2003). He has taught courses in screenwriting and film at the University of Pisa and at John Cabot University in Rome . His latest award-winning film is entilted, “So Far So Good” (2015).
Trama
L’ultimo weekend di cinque ragazzi che hanno studiato e vissuto a Pisa, nella stessa casa che è stata per loro teatro di amori nati e finiti, festeggiamenti per i trenta e lode e nottate passate insonni su libri indecifrabili. Adesso quel tempo di vita così acerbo, divertente e protetto, sta per finire. Ognuno prenderà direzioni diverse, andando incontro alle scelte che determinano il corso di una vita. Chi rimane nella sua città, Pisa, chi parte a lavorare all’estero. Insomma il racconto buffo, ironico ma anche profondo degli ultimi tre giorni di un gruppo di amici che hanno vissuto il momento più bello della loro vita e che non si vedranno più. Una metafora di una generazione chiamata ad una sfida.

Roan Johnson è un toscano cresciuto a Pisa. Si è diplomato al Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in sceneggiatura. Ha scritto Ora o Mai Più per Fandango e scritto e diretto “Il Terzo Portiere”. Ha tenuto corsi di sceneggiatura e cinema all’Università di Pisa e alla John Cabot University a Roma. Il suo ultimo film è “Fino A Qui Tutto Bene” con cui ha vinto 5 premi.
Résumé
Ce sont les derniers jours de colocation de cinq étudiants qui ont vécu ensemble à Pise. Cioni, jeune paumé, rentrera chez ses parents; Ilaria, aux prises avec une grossesse inattendue, retournera dans sa région d’origine; Vincenzo, diplômé en vulcanologie, déménagera en Islande où il devient professeur associé; sa petite amie, Francesca, reste en Italie dans l’espoir de démarrer une carrière artistique avec Andrea, frustré par l’absence d’opportunités et par la séparation de sa copine. Enfin, il y a Michele, ancien ami et colocataire mort dans un accident qui ressemble à un suicide, indéchiffrable aux yeux de ses amis. Devant un futur impossible à prévoir à cause de la crise, que devraient-ils faire ces jeunes? Surtout ne pas baisser les bras!

Diplômé en cinéma à l’Université de Pise avec une mention d’excellence (1998), Roan Johnson obtient un diplômé en scénarisation à Rome. Après quelques expériences cinématographiques et télévisées, il réalise son premier long métrage en 2011, intitulé I primi della lista. Ce film séduit les critiques et lui permet de s’inscrire parmi les réalisateurs émergeants les plus brillants en Italie.
