Un Ragazzo D’Oro

Davide Bias is a young copywriter who moves to Rome in the wake of his father’s death. His father, Ettore, was a screenwriter whom David was largely uncommunicative with throughout their relationship. Regardless, Davide decides to leave his job and girlfriend in Milan and moves in with his mother in Rome. After he arrives, he meets a publisher who wants to release his father’s autobiography. Intrigued by the idea of getting to know him better, and also getting better acquainted with the beautiful publisher, Davide decides to write the autobiography himself after finding nothing worth submitting on his father’s old computer. In trying to channel his father’s voice, he dives into professional frustration and impossible love for a married woman.

Davide Bias è un giovane redattore pubblicitario che si trasferisce a Roma dopo la morte di suo padre, uno sceneggiatore con cui Davide ebbe un rapporto tumultuoso e poco comunicativo. Ciononostante, Davide decide di lasciare il lavoro e la fidanzata a Milano e si trasferisce da sua madre a Roma dove conosce un’editrice che vorrebbe distribuire l’autobiografia di suo padre. Intrigato dall’idea di conoscere meglio suo padre, e anche dall’idea di conoscere meglio la bell’editrice, Ludovica, Davide decide di scrivere l’autobiografia da sé, dopo non aver trovato nulla di utile al vecchio computer del padre. Nel tentativo d’incanalare la voce di suo padre, si tuffa in una frustrazione professionale ed in un amore impossibile per una donna sposata.

Le film raconte l’histoire de Davide Bias (Riccardo Scamarcio), un publiciste qui rêve d’écrire une belle histoire, mais surtout une histoire vraie. Insatisfait et anxieux, il essaie de gérer son malaise en prenant des médicaments. Même sa petite-amie, Silvia (Cristina Capotondi), n’arrive
pas à atténuer ses angoisses. Lorsque son père, un scénariste de films de série B, meurt subitement, le jeune homme de Milan déménage à Rome, où il rencontre la belle Ludovica (Sharon Stone), une éditrice intéressée à publier une autobiographie que le père de Davide avait l’intention de écrire …
